We know that joining a new school can sometimes feel like you're drinking from a firehose, so we've collected our new family information on this page.

New Family Night/Back-to-School: A time of fellowship with new families and Shepherding Families, followed by a gathering of our whole school community with an informative session about the upcoming school year. AUGUST 14TH, 2026
5:30PM New Family Gathering in Herzog Hall
6:00PM Back-to-School Night in Neel Center

First Day of School: We traditionally have decorations at the entrance for both the Upper and Lower Schools. Come early for a photo opportunity! AUGUST 18th, 2026.

Uniforms: We use Land's End for our uniforms. Our school number is 900161829.

It does take time for these orders to arrive, so you are encouraged to order soon. Keep in mind that Heritage does have a Uniform Closet that is FREE. Families donate uniforms that their children no longer wear, and you can take what you need anytime. For access during the summer, contact Mrs. Stollenwerck, and she will let you in!

PRE-K: If you have a Pre-K student, click HERE to read about preparing your child for Pre-K.

Lockers: If you have a student in grades 6-12, they can come to Locker Decoration Day on August 15th, 2025 from 12:00-4:00 pm. Our locker dimensions are 35" high x 14.5" deep x 14" wide. It is 17.5" from the bottom of the locker to the locker shelf. NOTE: Our lockers are NOT magnetic.

Meet the Teacher: At the beginning of the year, you'll be invited to Meet the Teacher for grades 6-12 and Parent-Teacher Fellowship for grades Pre-K-5. Specific questions related to your child's grade level will be addressed at these meetings.

Athletics Uniforms: In order to demonstrate unity and to appear as a team, our student athletes are required to adhere to our practice and travel uniform guidelines. Click HERE to read.
