All students may arriving and go directly to class beginning at 8:10 a.m. in the driveway. Students arriving prior to 8:10 will enter Morning Care with an additional charge to parents.  Faculty members will welcome students on the driveway at 8:10 a.m. We ask parents to remain in their cars in the drop-off area and place the car in park when dropping off their children for both student and staff safety. Parents are not to walk children to their classrooms.  If a parent has business in the office, the student should be dropped off in the arrival area, and then, after parking in the grass lot, proceed to the office.  The West and Middle gates will be closed daily at 9:00 a.m. and will reopen at 2:00 p.m.

School Hours

 School begins for levels III - VIII at 8:30 and for levels PKIII - II at 8:40.  Dismissal times are as follows:  PKIII - K:  2:45, I - II:  3:00, III - V:  3:15, and Middle School dismissal begins at 3:30.

Parents should line up in their cars in the driveway according to their dismissal time, as indicated above. Faculty members assist students into their cars, while parents remain in the vehicle.  Eating or drinking is not permitted at driveway, except during PTO bake sale events.  Students with an older sibling with a later dismissal time wait in the appropriate alcove until the older sibling arrives to join them.

Students in levels PKIII - II who need After Care services will go enter After Care in Room 2 at 3:15 pm and be charged accordingly.  Students in levels III - VIII in need of daycare services will enter Daycare in Room 12 at 3:45 pm and be charged accordingly.  In the upper level daycare, students are required to do their homework or read quietly until 4:45 pm.  Students will remain in daycare until signed out by an authorized adult. Daycare is available in the mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 8:10 a.m., and in the afternoons from the student dismissal time until 6:00 p.m. Daycare charges will apply from the individual student’s dismissal time and not the older sibling’s dismissal time or holding time.

 Inclement Weather Procedures

Should inclement weather arise during the drop off time, parents are to escort their child to their classroom.  Should inclement weather arise during the afternoon pick up time, parents are to pick up their child in the classroom in the afternoon.  After 3:15, all students in levels PKIII - II are to be picked up in Room 2.  After 3:45, all students in levels III - VIII are to be picked up in Room 12.
